New School Year? No Problem.

by OBDK on September 08, 2021

New school year? New lesson plans? No problem. We have you covered with our favorite products for the classroom. Each of these activities gives your students a chance to learn about wildlife in a fun and unique way.

Owl Pellets

Pellets are an ethical alternative to dissection. Through dissecting pellets, students will strengthen observational skills and develop their problem-solving skills. They’ll also learn about the food chain and skeletal structures of animals.

Dissect It Kits

Another alternative to dissection, but one that gives you an inside look at an animal. These kits are helpful for learning about anatomy. Their special gelatin gives a realistic feel to the dissection activity, and each kit comes with refills so you can repeat the activity at least twice.

Puzzles

Our puzzles come in a range of skills, from 100 pieces to 300 pieces, and each focuses on a different animal. These are a great way to develop observational skills without dissection. Each puzzle comes with an insert of fun facts about its specific animal.

DVDs

Great for days when hands-on activities are a little too much to handle. We have several DVDs about wolves available for you. Start with The Great Wolf Divide: A Predator’s Dilemma before moving onto The Great Predator Debate: A Nation’s Dilemma. Or check out Grey Area: Wolves of the Southwest.

As always, we’re here for you for all your classroom needs! Shop now!
