P2W Event at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium Zoo Boo

Passport to Wildlife, hosted by Owl Brand Discovery Kits, greeted over a hundred families and 250 children at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium Zoo Boo on Saturday, October 15 in Tacoma, Washington.

In addition, P2W hosted Wolf Haven International at the Red Wolf exhibit where their team introduced hundreds of families to the ecology and biology of this and other wolf species.

It was a big day for WERC’s outreach and the collaborative program connected young people to an important understanding of carnivores and their behaviors.

This ends the season for education outreach as the Wolf Center focuses on consulting sanctuaries in the region and continuing important online educational classrooms.
