Do you know much about Long-Billed Curlews?

They’re the largest member of the sandpiper family. They’re rare birds. They currently have a steady population, although they were once hunted, and their breeding habitats have been lost to them.

Join Alan Lacy in his Filming the Wild video to get a closer look at Long-Billed Curlews!

He comes across these birds as well as Coyotes and Harrier Hawks while on location filming Burrowing Owls. You also get insight into what it takes to film these animals and hear Alan’s reflection on his work.
